I originally used this user name on a music message board four years ago. I haven't used it that much over the last couple of years.
I got the name from an observation that the trampoline in the back yard of my house was one of the most prominent features of my yard when I viewed my yard on Google Earth.
There was a big black round circle in the back of our yard and that black circle represented the view of a trampoline, from space.
It is a deliberate misdirection, but it points out the importance of perspective.
